Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Liberals would likely increase their parliamentary majority if a federal election were held now, polls suggest.
According to The Signal, the Star’s poll aggregator, Carney’s Liberals, who currently have 174 MPs in the 343-member Commons, would win between 167 and 218 seats — with a median tally of 192 — with 44.9 per cent of the popular vote.
