The Americana Honors & Awards nominees for 2026 have been announced, with Brandi Carlile, Margo Price, I’m With Her, S.G. Goodman, Mon Rovia and Ken Pomeroy all scoring two nominations each across the kudos’ five categories.

In the artist of the year category, for solo artists, Carlile and Price are nominated along with Charley Crockett, Molly Tuttle and Jesse Welles. (Only Crockett is returning as a nominee from 2025; Sierra Ferrell picked up the prize last year.)

In the duo/group of the year division, I’m With Her will contend alongside Flatland Cavalry, Mumford & Sons, Turnpike Troubadours and Gillian Welch & David Rawlings. (Welch & Rawlings won the award last year.)

The album of the year category is a contest between Price’s “Hard Headed Woman,” Goodman’s “Planting by the Signs,” Pomeroy’s “Cruel Joke,” Tyler Childers’ “Snipe Hunter” and Kathleen Edwards’ “Billionaire.”

Song of the year is between Carlile’s “Returning to Myself,” Goodman’s “Snapping Turtle,” I’m With Her’s “Wild and Clear and Blue,” Mon Rovia’s “Heavy Foot” and Lucinda Williams’ “The World Gone Wrong.” (Last year, the award went to I’m With Her for their song “Ancient Light.”)
