MANILA, Philippines — Cebu-based Vivant Corp. will spend P67 billion to finance several power and water projects through 2030, even as the country reels from the impacts of the Middle East war.
Arlo Sarmiento, CEO of Vivant, said at the annual stockholders’ meeting that the group would spend about P60 billion for the rollout of more energy projects with a greater focus on renewable energy.
The massive capital spending would help Vivant scale up its portfolio to 1,000 megawatts (MW), with at least 30 percent coming from clean assets.
As of the end of 2025, the group’s capacity was at 471 MW.
