Metro train services on May 24 will commence at 6 a.m.

With the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026 scheduled for May 24, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will begin services early on select corridors to facilitate candidates travelling to examination centres. Train services on Line 7 (Pink Line), Line 8 (Magenta Line) and Line 9 (Grey Line) will commence from terminal stations at 6 a.m., in line with the rest of the network. Metro services on these three lines usually begin at 7 a.m. on Sundays. However, this Sunday, trains will run at a frequency of 15 minutes till 7 a.m., after which the normal Sunday timetable will come into effect. “This special arrangement has been made to ensure seamless transit movement for civil services prelims examination candidates to reach their examination centres on time,” the DMRC stated in a statement.
