The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has revealed that its newly appointed registrar, Professor Segun Aina, played a key role during the early introduction of the Computer-Based Test system in the examination body.

PUNCH Online earlier reported that President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, appointed Aina, a Professor of Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, to succeed Is-haq Oloyede, whose second term as registrar ends on July 31, 2026.

In a statement issued on Thursday by its spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, the board said Aina was not new to its operations, noting that he contributed significantly to the formative stage of the CBT regime.

“He was actively involved in the early stages of the introduction of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) system in the Board.
