Suffield sent emails and Instagram messages to the couple and filed false referrals to the children's charity NSPCC between June 2022 and July 2023. She initially denied two counts of stalking involving serious alarm or distress but pleaded guilty to two lesser stalking offences at Isleworth Crown Court. Suffield also contacted close friends, family, and work colleagues of the couple, making allegations of drug abuse and sending a gift for their young children. The journalist, from Liverpool, was granted bail with conditions not to contact the couple and is scheduled to be sentenced on 3 July.
