The Income Tax department, Kozhikode, and the Kozhikode Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India are jointly organising a public outreach programme on the Income Tax Act 2025. The programme will be held at Vyapara Bhavan on May 26, 2026, at 2.30 p.m.It will be inaugurated by Kozhikode Commissioner of Income Tax Ben Mathew Varkey.The event is being organised with the objective of creating awareness among the general public and business and industrial sectors about the Income Tax Act 2025, which has been introduced with the aims of simplifying tax laws, adapting to digital systems, and reducing litigation, as well as encouraging greater compliance with tax regulations.
