All I know, because I look at other male presenters, is that if you’re a man and you’re lucky enough to have the genes that allow you to keep your hair, it can only be a plus.”‌Speaking to the Telegraph, he also spoke of his changing hair colour, insisting: "I get very odd comments about my hair, people saying I've dyed it blond - and I haven't.""It's genetic. I promise you it's not lemon juice or something you spray on." Instead, he said he had lighter hair as a child and that it has gotten lighter again because he spends a lot of time at his holiday home in the south of France.Recently, Richard made headlines when he shed light on the reason he and his wife Judy sleep in separate bedrooms. The couple have been married for almost 40 years and share two children together - Jack and Chloe.‌During an appearance on Kate Thornton's White Wine Question Time podcast, he explained that sleeping separately became part of their routine when he started working for Good Morning Britain.‌He revealed that, on days when he is due on Good Morning Britain, which starts at 6am, he chooses to sleep in the spare room to avoid waking Judy when he gets up.He said: "When I'm doing Good Morning Britain I sleep in the spare room. I do probably sleep a little bit better in bed with Judy but I'm okay on my own."When asked whether he'd consider waking Judy up early instead, he added: "I wouldn't think of doing that to Judy.
