Anthropic may see its first profitable quarter in the three-month period ending in June, as revenue for the second quarter surges, according to multiple reports, in a rarity for the cost-intensive AI industry.
The start-up expects to see $10.9 billion (£8bn) in revenues for the quarter, more than double its income in the prior three-month period, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing figures disclosed to the company’s investors that were later also reported by outlets including Bloomberg and Reuters.
Anthropic expects its operating profit for the June quarter to reach $559m, reports said.
