May 2026 is going to be a hectic month for Netflix, thanks to a flurry of releases – old and new.Among the biggest premieres this month are new crime series Legends, from Guilt creator Neil Forsyth, starring Steve Coogan, an adaptation of the book Remarkably Bright Creatures, marking the screen return of Sally Field, and season two of hit comedy drama The Four Seasons, which debuted in 2025.There’ll also be a documentary based on the life of Only Murders in the Building star Martin Short – and an intriguing new show titled The Boroughs. The science-fictions how, produced by Stranger Things creators the Duffer brothers, follows residents of retirement community who fight an otherworldly threat from stealing “the one thing they don't have… time”. The cast includes Bill Pullman, Geena Davis, Clarke peters, alred Molina and Alfre Woodard.Perhaps the most exciting addition will be Everyone is Doing Great, the US coming-of-age comedy series that started in 2021.
