TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - American rapper and singer Post Malone has announced an extensive Australia and New Zealand leg of his “The BIG ASS World Tour,” marking his biggest headline stadium tour in the region to date.News.com.au noted that the tour announcement came shortly after Post Malone revealed he had postponed part of his global tour schedule by around three weeks in order to complete new music before returning to the road.“We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about three weeks to get this music done,” Post Malone wrote on Instagram Stories earlier this month.The stadium tour will begin at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Oct. 9, followed by performances at Suncorp Stadium on Oct. 12 and ENGIE Stadium on Oct. 15.The rapper will also headline the Strummingbird Festival in Ballarat, Newcastle, and the Sunshine Coast before concluding the regional tour at Go Media Stadium in Auckland on Oct. 21.Rolling Stone reported that Grammy-nominated R&B artist Don Toliver will join the tour as a supporting act across all stadium dates. Don Toliver recently gained commercial success with his 2026 album OCTANE, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.The Strummingbird Festival lineup will also feature artists including Bailey Zimmerman, Cooper Alan, Brad Cox, and Max Jackson.Presale tickets for the Australia and New Zealand tour will begin on May 26, followed by Live Nation and other partner presales on May 27. General ticket sales are scheduled to open on May 28.Post Malone last toured Australia and New Zealand in 2023 during a sold-out arena run and performances at the Spilt Milk festival.Widely regarded as one of the defining artists of his generation, Post Malone has built a global fanbase through a blend of hip-hop, pop, rock, and country music.
