The Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Kazeem Alogba; the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Lawal Pedro, SAN; along with legal practitioners, academics, and principal officers of Caleb University, have encouraged law students to uphold integrity, embrace leadership, and commit to building enduring legacies in the legal profession that will strengthen Nigeria’s justice system.
The charge was made at the 2026 Law Dinner organised by the university’s College of Law, held on Friday, at the White Stone Event Place, Ikeja, Lagos, with the theme “Law, Leadership and Legacy: Preparing Advocates for Impact”.
Delivering the keynote address, the Lagos Attorney-General of Lagos State charged law students to embrace integrity, discipline and service, stressing that the legal profession remains one of society’s most powerful instruments for justice, development and social transformation.
He described the legal profession as one of the noblest callings known to mankind, noting that lawyers occupy strategic positions in governance, business, public service and civil society.
