Ikale Youths Reject APC Primary Results In Ondo, Allege Manipulation

The group accused unnamed interests within the state of influencing the outcome of the primary election.

The Ikale League of Youths has rejected the outcome of the All Progressives Congress primary election for the Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in Ondo State, alleging that the results announced after the exercise were manipulated.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the group said the figures released after the primary election did not reflect the actual events that took place across the 23 wards in the constituency during the exercise.

The group accused unnamed interests within the state of influencing the outcome of the primary election.

It said, “The Ikale League of Youths strongly condemns the fake and manipulated APC primary election results recently announced in Ondo State, particularly as it concerns the Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency.”
