As many as 120 girls from schools across Delhi-NCR participated in IIT Delhi’s STEM mentorship programme, aimed at encouraging them to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).The fifth edition of the programme, Manasvi, concluded recently, IIT Delhi said in a statement on Wednesday (May 20, 2026).All participants this year were students of government schools in Delhi. Each day began with an informal session, followed by academic or leadership sessions conducted by faculty members. Afternoons were devoted to experiential learning.Students worked with electric circuits and built solar lamps, while on another day, they conducted molecular biology experiments, the institute said.
