China's Dongfeng and Stellantis have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to deepen strategic cooperation, with a focus on accelerating international expansion for the State-owned carmaker's premium brand Voyah.
Under the proposed agreement, the two sides plan to establish a joint venture in Europe. The JV is intended to handle sales and distribution of Voyah vehicles across selected European markets, marking a key step in Voyah's overseas growth strategy.
The partnership would leverage Stellantis' established European distribution network, localized operational capabilities, and global industrial resources, said the companies.
For Voyah, the collaboration is expected to improve overseas market efficiency and help build a more integrated system covering branding, sales, after-sales services, and supply chain coordination—supporting the brand's transition from exporting products to exporting brand value and ecosystem capabilities.
