ABUJA – AHEAD of the 2027 Presidential and general elections, the Shehu Gabam-led Social Democratic Party, SDP, has elected Abimbola Akeem Atanda as its Presidential candidate for the forthcoming polls.
His election, which took place on Wednesday during the 2026 National Convention/ Presidential Primary at the Bola Tinubu Conference Centre, was sequel to a voice vote by delegates from the thirty-six states of the country and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
