They did it their way. That is all that really matters. After a season where rival fans and even opposition managers have bemoaned Arsenal’s dark arts, Mikel Arteta’s side are Premier League champions.
Did they ride their luck? Arguably no more than most champions have, but still there are incidents which stick out that helped Arsenal end their 22-year wait, notably the seismic VAR decision at West Ham earlier this month.
Make no mistake, there have been some brilliant wins, but here we are only concerned with the more controversial moments along the way…
