The medicos, doctors and nurses of Tirunelveli Medical College and the Hospital donated 200 units of blood on Wednesday.Since most of the colleges remain closed in view of summer vacation, the voluntary blood donor students are expected to return to the college only after the holidays. Hence, the blood donation camp was organised by the Tirunelveli Medical College Blood Donors’ Club to ensure sufficient supply of blood and blood components to the patients coming to TVMCH.The TVMCH Blood Bank received 200 units of blood donated by the undergraduate and the postgraduate students, doctors and nurses during this special camp.
