Leaks allege that Samsung’s Galaxy S27 Pro will sport a 6.47-inch display. It’s expected to be shoehorned in as the fourth model in Samsung’s flagship ‘S’ lineup.
The Galaxy S27’s 6.47-inch display will be powered by an OLED panel, according to a report by ETNews. The leak further supports the expectation that the phone will be released early next year as an additional model alongside Samsung’s other flagship phones. The difference here is that the company doesn’t appear to be limiting itself to just three devices.
Sources familiar with the Galaxy S27 Pro indicate Samsung is all in on developing an additional model this time around. It looked like Samsung would do something similar last year, but when push came to shove, the company ultimately decided to drop the Galaxy S26 Edge and work in a half-hearted update to the Galaxy S25 Plus.
Historically, the lineup has consisted of the base device, Plus model, and Ultra variant. The three phones offered distinct size profiles and spec sheets. The Ultra is always the more expensive version, reserving the best cameras for the more premium device. The base model has never slouched, either. The Galaxy S26 may have been the best choice of the three at the beginning of this year.
