PHOTOS: Veteran politicians gather to condole Kiraitu Murungi during daughter's requeim
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki joined a host of veteran politicians, former and sitting top state officials, at a memorial mass held in honour of Kiraitu Murungi’s late daughter, Anita Kendi Kiraitu.
The service brought together senior political figures from across the political divide, who converged to console the former minister during what was described as one of the most painful moments for any parent.
The gathering stood out for the presence of both serving and former leaders, underscoring a rare moment of unity in grief.
Among those in attendance were former Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi, former Governor Francis Kimemia, former Senator Ephraim Maina, former Chief Justice David Maraga and Senator Amos Wako, among others.
