Fiber infrastructure company Lightpath has expanded its dense NYC metropolitan fiber infrastructure network.

The expansion supports deployments for national wireless service providers and spans more than 2,400 macro cell tower locations across Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey.

The deployment expands on Lightpath's existing 12,100 route-mile fiber infrastructure.

Lightpath is adding 265 route miles of new fiber construction as part of the expansion, as it looks to deliver 100 Gbps and 400 Gbps aggregation links across the tower sites.
