Quantum Bridge Technologies raised $8 million in Series A funding led by Primo Capital SGR to expand deployment of quantum-safe cybersecurity systems aimed at protecting critical infrastructure from future quantum computing threats.

The funding round included investors such as Wayra, Cadenza VC, HPE, Bacchus Venture Capital, and Club degli Investitori angels, bringing the company’s total funding to $16 million.

The company said its Distributed Symmetric Key Establishment protocol is designed to help organizations add quantum-safe encryption protections across existing networks and security systems without replacing current infrastructure.
