If, like me, you have a compact kitchen, there just never seems to be enough storage space. And despite regularly decluttering my kitchen cabinets, they never took long to fill up again. But my biggest (and daily) dilemma was, without a doubt, my glassware cabinet. From wine glasses and juice tumblers to champagne flutes, I often struggled to fit everything in, Tetris-style. This often resulted in a cluttered, unsightly mess, and, not to mention, the high risk of breakages. That was until I discovered IKEA's perfect answer to those tricky small-space issues and a great way to extend your wine glass lifespan! The IKEA PÅLYCKE is a clip-on multi-purpose rack that you simply fix underneath a shelf or inside a cabinet to hold extra wine glasses. This versatile rack is just the right size for stems or even to hold a kitchen roll — and will instantly maximize storage and free up counter space.Better still, it costs just $5 — which is an absolute steal for buying you extra storage. Here’s why I’ll be adding this to my shopping list right away. Why I love the IKEA PÅLYCKE clip-on rack

Not only is it a practical way to maximize space, but it's also a tidy way to showcase your glasses, keeping them easily accessible whenever you need them. While they can hang by the stems safely, bear in mind not to go over the 2-pound weight limit, and each rack can only accommodate three glasses. However, at such a bargain price, I’ll be tempted to buy a few to utilize storage in the kitchen and around the home.Perhaps the only downside is that since glasses are exposed, they are prone to dust and grime — so you’ll need to give them a good wipe now and again. But if you regularly have a glass of vino at mealtimes, these will prove very handy.Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.Failing that, the rack works just as well as a kitchen roll holder if you lack countertop space. Not bad for just $5, which is a brilliant saving — and costs way less than a new cabinet! If you’re looking for more bargains, check out these IKEA items I'd pick up for my bathroom — and they're all under $10.
