See the latest films for less by using this deal-stacking method for the rest of the month11:11, 20 May 2026A deal-stacking offer could let Tesco shoppers see the latest film releases at Cineworld for a fraction of the cost. The offer - which includes screenings on weekends and the bank holiday - was recently highlighted by the team behind Martin Lewis' MoneySavingExpert (MSE).Instead of hanging onto their Clubcard points, film fans could double their earnings and spend them to get discounted tickets from £2.50. However, the enhanced offer is only valid at cinema chains across the UK for just over a week. How does the 50p offer work?According to the MSE website, Tesco Clubcard holders can 'exchange' their loyalty points for vouchers that can be used to get cheap cinema tickets. Every 50p worth of Clubcard points converted will become £1 when exchanged for a Cineworld code.MSE said: "Clubcard members can get up to four Cineworld tickets for £5 any day of the week until Sunday, May 31. This means it'll only be £2.50 when converting Clubcard vouchers to double the value."To get the £5 tickets, you need to convert a minimum of 50p in Clubcard vouchers, so you can still get a cheap ticket even if you don't have £2.50-worth of vouchers to cover the full discounted price. It is valid for any standard 2D screening (extra charges apply for premium formats)."Tesco's website explains: "When you've completed your order, look out for a confirmation email and a second email containing your Partner code. If you placed your order in the app, your code will appear in the 'My Rewards' section within 15 minutes."To redeem your code, either click the link in the email to the Partner site and enter your code where asked. If you ordered in the app, this link can be found in 'How to redeem' in the 'My Rewards' section. Alternatively, when you get to the cinema, show the code on your phone or in a clearly printed email."Usually, the offer only works on Tuesdays, but until the end of May, customers can use it any day of the week. The offer is capped at four tickets per transaction. What's on at Cineworld until May 31?Movie fans can use this deal to access some of the latest releases and revisit classic options on the big screen. At the time of writing (May 20), films like The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Sheep Detectives, Michael and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie are all screening across the UK.Later this week, more big-name releases are due to land, including Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu and Tom and Jerry: Forbidden Compass (both coming out on May 22). Discounted tickets could also be used to access the limited screenings and classic reissues that Cineworld offers, with some venues offering anniversary editions of Shrek and Legally Blonde (both celebrating 25 years since their debut) as well as Top Gun (marking 40 years since Maverick's original flight).Article continues belowFor specific details near you, use the Cineworld website here.
