Prime Video’s No. 1 show right now is “Off Campus,” a steamy romantic drama that’s an adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s massively popular novels. It’s a glossy series that very much takes the yearning and intensity of hockey from “Heated Rivalry” and the format from “Bridgerton.” It might be an odd comparison on paper, but this series includes all the best elements from these beloved shows. In fact, Amazon executives had so much faith in the project that they officially renewed the show for season 2 months before season 1 even debuted.“Off Campus” follows Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), a music student at Briar University, whose life becomes intertwined with Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli), the school’s star hockey player. After Garrett desperately needs help passing a class, he convinces Hannah to tutor him in exchange for helping her gain the attention of her crush.
