France’s Mistral AI has acquired Emmi AI, a start-up based in Austria, for an undisclosed sum as the Paris-based firm expands into industrial applications.
Emmi was founded in 2024 and last year completed Austria’s largest-ever seed round of €15 million (£13m) for its applied systems for helping manufacturing firms streamline engineering workflows and product design cycles.
