Just hours after winning Eurovision 2026 for Bulgaria, DARA triggered another wave of online attention - this time not with a performance, but with a direct public appeal to one of the biggest names in modern electronic music.

Shortly after returning from Vienna, the singer posted a message on social media asking fans to help her reach British producer Fred Again. “Hey, people! Can you do me a favor? I really want to record a song with these legends. Tag me in the comments under this video so that my chance can increase,” DARA wrote in a story attached to a live performance featuring Fred Again, Underworld and Mike Skinner. The clip, uploaded several weeks earlier, had already attracted more than 700,000 likes online.

The response was immediate. Within less than 24 hours, the post was flooded with more than 20,000 comments, many of them from Bulgarians urging the British producer to notice the Eurovision winner and consider a future collaboration.

The campaign quickly expanded beyond fan circles. Musicians, influencers, actors and public figures from Bulgaria joined the effort, including Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev, who publicly encouraged the British artists to pay attention to DARA. Singer Mihaela Fileva also joined the online push, alongside Latvian performer Liene Atvara Sturmane and Greek selection participant Evangelia.
