Yvonne Häring will become Chairwoman of the Executive Board of Pax from January 2027. She has so far served as deputy to CEO Peter Kappeler, who has led the insurance company since 2011 and is set to stand for election as Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2027.

With the appointment of Yvonne Häring, «the Board of Directors is ensuring both continuity and further development along the successful path of the 150-year-old pension insurance company,» the company said in a statement released on Wednesday.
The 48-year-old Yvonne Häring has been Head of the Products & Actuarial Department (CPO) at Pax since 2020 and a member of the Executive Board as well as its Deputy Chairwoman. At the end of April, the Government Council of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft also elected her to the Board of Directors of Basellandschaftliche Gebäudeversicherung. From 2007 to 2019, the holder of a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Basel held various management positions at the then Basler Versicherungen. She is the mother of a daughter and lives in the Basel region.
