The hearing of the Nasrapur case will take place in a special court in Pune , everyday, starting May 21. The proceedings will be held in camera. The court will take steps to protect the identity of the victim’s family members. The accused, Bhimrao Kamble (65), will be produced in court everyday under security.Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ordered that the case be heard on a daily basis and that efforts be made to punish the accused. Special Public Prosecutor Ajay Misar said the government and the police aim to complete the hearing and ensure punishment for the accused. He added that the case is being taken to court to provide justice to the victim’s family and to send a message to society.The police filed a chargesheet of 1100 pages against Kamble within 14 days of the crime. The chargesheet includes forensic reports, CCTV footage, technical evidence, autopsy reports, and statements of eyewitnesses.The crime came to light on Maharashtra Day. A girl of three and a half years was raped and murdered in the Nasrapur area of Bhor taluka.
