State of Origin selection shockers are nothing new for New South Wales.
However, a former Queensland and Kiwis coach believes leaving out an in-form Warriors star is the worst example yet.
New Zealand rugby league royalty, Sir Graham Lowe, the only non-Australian to coach a State of Origin side, can’t understand how Jackson Ford was not picked in the Blues side for game one.
"It's like they haven't been watching him," Lowe told Wide World of Sports.
"Every week he tops the Warriors tackle count and run metres, and he has an amazing motor that would work so well in Origin.”
