The company also plans to offer models with Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 series processors later this year. It’s also an expensive tablet. Prices start at $1950 for a model with a Core Ultra 5 335 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD.That’s an awful lot of money to spend on a tablet with those specs, even at a time when RAM and storage prices are driving up the cost of most computers. And prices will climb significantly higher if you want a model with more memory, more storage, or a Core Ultra 7 366H processor.Of course, this is a tablet aimed at business customers who may be able to negotiate lower prices for bulk purchases. And it has some enterprise-friendly features including optional support for a 5G radio and Windows 11 Pro software. But still. Most of the tablet’s other specs are pretty much what you’d expect from an updated Surface Pro.The tablet has an anodized aluminum body that comes in black or platinum color options. Its 13 inch display is a 2880 x 1920 pixel screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 120 Hz refresh rate. Entry-level configurations have an IPS LCD display, while Microsoft also offers configurations with OLED screens.Models with LCD screens ship standard with a 47 Wh battery, while OLED models get a 53 Wh batter, so battery life should be similar on both.Other features include a built-in kickstand with support for angles up to 165 degrees, support for a Surface Slim Pen (2nd-gen) and other pens that support Microsoft Pen Protocol. Unfortunately, despite the high starting price, neither the pen nor the detachable keyboard are included i the base price – you’ll have to pay extra for those. The Surface Pro for Business (12th-gen) has two Thunderbolt 4 ports with support for DisplayPort 2.1 video output, 60W or higher charging, and 40 Gbps data transfer speeds. The tablet has a 10MP rear camera and 1440p front-facing camera with Windows Hello-compatible face recognition, dual microphones, and stereo 2W speakers with Dolby Atmos sound.via Windows Blog
