The amount of London office space leased by AI companies has surged tenfold over 2025 levels, rising to more than 450,000 square feet in April, compared to an average across last year of 40,000 sq ft, real estate analysts CoStar said.Almost half the deals were for offices in the areas of King’s Cross and Euston rail stations, with links to Cambridge and London educational institutions, the firm said, confirming recent figures from Knight Frank.
In April 2025, less than 50,000 sq ft of office space in the capital was being leased by companies whose core business was developing AI models, rising to 250,000 sq ft in March 2026.
