SBI said successful apprentices may receive weightage and relaxation in future Junior Associate recruitment, subject to satisfactory performance and completion of the required skill evaluation and certification process.

State Bank of India (SBI) will recruit 7150 graduates as apprentices in its branches across the country for a period of one year.As per the recruitment notification issued by SBI, applicants should be between 20 and 28 years of age as on April 1, 2026. The maximum age indicated is for unreserved and Economically Weaker Section candidates. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per the Government of India guidelines.Apprentices to receive ₹15,000 monthly stipendThe apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 during the one-year training period, with no additional allowances or benefits. SBI will provide weightage and relaxation in the recruitment of Junior Associates for candidates who successfully complete the programme, as per its recruitment policy, subject to the apprentices maintaining satisfactory conduct and performance throughout the training period.Successful completion of the apprenticeship would require candidates to clear the skill evaluation (trade) test and obtain the joint National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by SBI along with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) / BFSI Sector Skill Council.Applications open till June 8Online application registration commenced on May 19, 2026, and will continue until June 8, 2026.
