Weaviate 1.36 Release | Weaviate

Weaviate v1.36 is now available open-source and on Weaviate Cloud.

This release introduces HFresh, a new vector index type now available as a technical preview, alongside five features moving to general availability: Server-side Batching, Object TTL, Async Replication Improvements, Drop Inverted Indices, and Backup Restoration Cancellation.

These updates bring meaningful improvements to indexing performance, data lifecycle management, and operational reliability at scale.
