The MK Party has ordered its former national spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndhlela, to immediately stop using party resources including bank accounts, social media platforms and official communication channels.

In a move announced on Monday, the party confirmed Ndhlela had been removed as both national spokesperson and Member of Parliament with immediate effect during a media briefing led by party president Jacob Zuma and secretary-general Sibonelo Nomvalo.

A letter seen by IOL revealed the dismissal stems from allegations of misconduct, sowing divisions within party ranks and bringing the MK Party into disrepute.

The party gave Ndhlela seven days to return all party property, including documents, devices, passwords, access credentials and his membership card.

“Pending the outcome of the investigation, you are instructed to refrain from representing the party in any official capacity,” the letter stated.
