The Met Police has said up to 57 individuals and 20 companies could face criminal charges over the Grenfell Tower fire.
72 people died in the disaster, which was fuelled by flammable cladding. A public inquiry found the disaster was avoidable.
But charges may not be brought until next year, and a trial is unlikely before 2029 – 12 years after the fire. Bereaved families and survivors say the wait for justice is ‘unacceptable’
