Daniel Martin Brown, 63, of Leeds, Alabama, was charged in a five-count indictment filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, according to an announcement by Acting U.S. Attorney Catherine L. Crosby.

A retired United States Air Force major has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Alabama over allegations involving the production and possession of child sexual abuse material, in a case prosecutors say spanned more than a decade.

Daniel Martin Brown, 63, of Leeds, Alabama, was charged in a five-count indictment filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, according to an announcement by Acting U.S. Attorney Catherine L. Crosby.

Federal prosecutors said Brown faces “four counts of sexual exploitation of children and one count of possession of child pornography.”

Court documents allege that the offences were committed in Jefferson County, Alabama, between January 2014 and December 2025.
