May 19 (UPI) -- A customer brought home a bag of lettuce from an Australian grocery store and discovered a live frog among the leaves.
Laura Jones and Billie Le Pine, who are originally from New Zealand, said their roommate returned to their Esperance home from a trip to Woolworths and called their attention to the bag of lettuce he bought.
"He's the most casual Australian ever, and he's like, 'Bro, I've got a lettuce, like a frog in my lettuce,'" Jones told the Australian Broadcasting Corp. "It was just out of the ordinary for Kiwis."
Jones posted a video of the frog inside the bag to TikTok, where it racked up millions of views.
Le Pine estimated the frog was about the size of his palm.
