Maddie Ziegler has signed with UTA for representation in all areas.

Ziegler, who is 23, first rose to prominence at age 8 as a star of the Lifetime reality series “Dance Moms” for seven seasons from 2011 to 2016. By the time she was 11, her work on the show had caught the attention of Sia, who saw her as a muse and cast her in several mega-popular music videos including “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart.” Ziegler also toured with Sia internationally and starred in Sia’s 2021 film “Music.”

Ziegler eventually began to focus on acting, with prominent early credits including Colin Trevorrow’s Naomi Watts-led 2017 film “The Book of Henry,” Steven Spielberg’s 2021 “West Side Story” remake and Megan Park’s 2021 SXSW award-winning directorial debut “The Fallout.” In 2023, she starred in the SXSW coming-of-age film “Fitting In” and the Amazon MGM Studios release “My Old Ass.”

Most recently, Ziegler led an ensemble that also included Uma Thurman, Millicent Simmonds, Iris Apatow, Lana Condor and Avantika in the 2025 SXSW headliner “Pretty Lethal,” a bloody thriller film about ballerinas. Up next, she’ll appear in the Netflix rom-com “In a Holidaze” based on Christina Lauren’s 2020 novel of the same name.
