The force is strong as Epic Games Fortnite and its “Star Wars“ collaboration continues with the launch of “The Mandalorian and Grogu” Watch Party Island.

Starting Tuesday, players will be able to watch 10 minutes from the upcoming film. On May 26, director Jon Favreau will appear on the island’s amphitheater for a Q&A.

Last month, during a special preview, Favreau shared a video saying the new Island “drops you into Nevarro with your friends. The team that designed and built the sets from the film were also deeply involved with creating our island from Nevarro Main Street to the Imperial Safe House and more.”

Created with Fairview Portals — Favreau’s storytelling creative studio — and Beyond Creative, every detail, from Nevarro’s architecture to the quest design, draws from the world first seen on Disney+ and now headed to the big screen. The experience was crafted using assets from the official “Star Wars” toolkit — the largest IP toolset in Fortnite.

In a statement, Favreau told Variety, “On ‘The Mandalorian’, everything comes back to detail… materials, lighting, sound. They’re what make the world feel real. Our team at Fairview Portals brought those elements together with Lucasfilm and Epic in Fortnite to recreate the tone and texture of that world, inviting players to a new way to step into it.”
