The command disclosed that seven secondary school students, 18 primary school pupils and seven teachers remain unaccounted for following the attack on Community Grammar School, Baptist Nursery and Primary School, and L.A. Primary School in the Esiele community last Friday.

The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed that at least 32 schoolchildren and teachers abducted during coordinated attacks on schools in the Oriire Local Government Area of the state are still missing days after the incident.

The command disclosed that seven secondary school students, 18 primary school pupils and seven teachers remain unaccounted for following the attack on Community Grammar School, Baptist Nursery and Primary School, and L.A. Primary School in the Esiele community last Friday.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Oluyinka Ayanlade, said security agencies were intensifying rescue efforts to locate the victims and arrest the perpetrators behind the abduction.

“Seven students, 18 pupils, and seven teachers are still missing,” Ayanlade stated.
