Google I/O 2026 starts today, and every bit of developer and Android news that comes with it will be announced via livestream and in person for all to watch. Here’s how to tune in.
How to watch Google I/O live
On May 19 and 20 2026, Google will host several I/O sessions for users to watch, including a keynote to get things started on the first day. That keynote will be the main event, more or less. The main Google I/O keynote is traditionally streamed for online audiences while being held for local attendees in Mountain View, California.
The keynote will begin on May 19 at 10 a.m. PT (5 p.m. UTC). You should see a countdown start, tracking the show’s start, along with a couple of surprise guests.
There are a couple of online streaming options. The preferred method is to go straight to YouTube on Google’s main channel. The other main avenue is through Google’s website, where the stream will be displayed while Google’s I/O 2026 keynote takes place.
