Days before a team of hit men brutally murdered an older couple near Toronto, two Peel police officers knocked on their door looking for a man named Bobby.

Jagtar Sidhu, 57, and Harbhajan Kaur Sidhu, 55, had been visiting from India, staying at their children’s rental home along the Caledon-Brampton border. The kids were at work; the Sidhus asked a basement tenant to translate. The cops allegedly checked the couple’s passports, confirmed that “Bobby” wasn’t there and then left without an explanation.
