Walmart is not the first brand anyone thinks of when it comes to Android tablets, but the retailer’s Onn brand has just dropped six new models all running Android 16 and, on paper at least, they look surprisingly good.

Available now online and in stores, Walmart’s new Onn Android tablet lineup consists of six models – a 13-inch Pro for $288, 11-inch Core for $167, 8.1-inch Core for $138, 7-inch Core for $97, and two kid-focused tablets with 11-inch and 8-inch screens for $136 and $118, respectively.

The entire lineup ships with Android 16 out of the box.

Starting with the Onn 13 Pro Tablet, Walmart’s “flagship” has a 13-inch 2400×1600 IPS LCD display and is powered by an undisclosed MediaTek processor at 2.6GHz, which could be any number of options. It has 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 13MP rear-facing camera. The display has stylus support and there’s both a stylus and a folio case included in the box. Early reviews of the tablet also showcase an IP54 dust/water resistance rating, “Extended Display Mode,” and “face recognition.”
