Digital Realty has launched a new data center in Barcelona, Spain.

The company this week announced the opening of its first data center in Barcelona, BCN1, located at Av. del Maresme, 43 in the Sant Adrià de Besòs innovation area.

Digital Realty, via its subsidiary company Interxion, announced plans for a 15MW data center in Barcelona in 2022. This week, the company said the new data center offers 14MW of total planned capacity across 15,000 sqm (161,455 sq ft)
