The United States government has announced the removal of visa bond requirements for eligible players, coaches, support staff and fans travelling for the FIFA World Cup 2026, in what officials described as efforts to ease entry procedures ahead of the tournament

According to the U.S. Department of State, the waiver applies to qualifying members of participating national teams who meet U.S. entry conditions.

The policy will also cover eligible football fans from participating countries who have already secured World Cup tickets and enrolled in FIFA PASS before the April 15, 2026 deadline.
