European company Destinus has announced an accelerated programme for the long-range Ruta Block 3 missile, with a range of up to 2,000 km. The system is being developed with the involvement of German defence concern Rheinmetall and Brave1 defence tech cluster, with tests planned in Ukraine.

The company said Ruta Block 3 will be a further development of the Ruta family, which has already moved "from battlefield validation into serial industrial production".
