A Russian drone struck a Chinese commercial vessel in Ukrainian waters overnight on May 18.
Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"It's interesting what motivated the Russians when they decided tonight to hit a Chinese commercial vessel in our sea with a Shahed drone. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but this is something new," Pletenchuk wrote.

Earlier, on April 25, a Russian drone attack caused a fire aboard a Panama-flagged vessel in the Odesa region.
