The National Innovation Agency (NIA) is positioning its STEAM4INNOVATOR framework at the centre of a long-term strategy to strengthen Thailand's innovation landscape, develop future talent, and bridge the gap between academia and industry. The framework is one of the NIA's initiatives designed to cultivate innovation talent and create clearer career pathways for young people and professionals.

"The NIA views human capital as our most strategic asset. We are moving beyond the role of a funding agency to become a 'focal conductor' that strengthens Thailand's innovation landscape by building capabilities across all sectors -- from academia to industry and the workforce," said Krithpaka Boonfueng, executive director of the agency.

Under its 2025-2027 strategy, NIA plans to develop 60,000 innovators in higher education.
