Come to our aid, abducted Oyo school principal cries out from captivity

The Oyo State Police Command on Sunday confirmed receipt of a viral video currently circulating across various media platforms in relation to the Friday abduction incident in Oriire Local Government Area of the state.

This was contained in a statement issued by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade, in Ibadan, the state capital.

PUNCH reports that the victims were abducted during coordinated attacks on Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Yawota, and Community Grammar School/L.A. Primary School, Esiele, in the local government area on Friday around 9:30 a.m.

Ayanlade said: “Consequently, the footage is presently undergoing comprehensive forensic examination to determine its authenticity and further aid ongoing investigations, rescue operations, as well as the identification and arrest of the perpetrators behind the heinous act.
